I want to thank you for a wonderful product and concept. My property has over 200 windows, many of which are defective with fog. I had a local window installer use your kit and IT WORKED!!! At least 3/4 of the windows have totally cleared up! Not only will this save me a lot of money in replacements, but the heartache of workman, scaffolding and mess. My wife is thrilled! THANK YOU for all your phone support and helpfulness.

I ordered a repair kit last year and am just now finally coming back to give a review. I have only done one window so far but I just want to say thank you, thank you!!! I can see out my window again! I have several more windows to do but I am waiting for the weather to warm up a bit. I was able to repair our window with my 17yr son. Instructions were easy to understand. My window is not completely clear because it has been like this for 10 years! All of the moisture and fogginess went away but the etching is permanent. It is a remarkable improvement, and as I said, I can see out it again! I am really excited to do some of mine that have recently started going bad. I am guessing they will be good as new because I see condensation only in those windows. Thanks again. You have saved me so much in repair or replacement costs!

Excellent product! We did 5 large double pane windows which were opaque with grayish-white mineral deposits between the glass ... we could not even see through them! After watching the videos and following the instructions the whole process took us less than 2 hours. Wow, we could not believe the results! The windows came up like new the first day with no mineral deposits or etching on the glass ... totally clear! And we did this process 3 years ago and they are still perfect! Saved us lot of money. Thanks for your product and your support.

We had regular double paned windows and some with low-E film either sprayed or attached to the inside of the windows. Thanks to your online support we stopped putting the solutions through the low-E windows (to avoid any reaction with the low-E covering) and they cleared up perfectly. We did the complete process on the regular double paned windows and they too cleared up perfectly. The kit is easy to use especially with your videos and instructions. Great product and good support. Thank you.

Took a chance and ordered the Advanced Foggy Repair Kit from the website. Arrived in four days. Did two patio doors and eight windows. All came totally clear in about five days. One patio door had some minor etching in the glass that did not come out but what a huge improvement and cost savings. Good instructions and how to videos. Easy to use even on the second storey windows. Would recommend this product.

Disappointed at first because I drilled the holes on the inside of the window so of course it didn\92t dry out. Called support and they told me that you have to drill the holes on the outside of the window. I should have read the instructions or watched the videos first. Re-drilled the windows on the outside and they dried out completely within a few days. Totally clear with no moisture or residue. Very happy with the results provided you follow the instructions. Thanks for your help.

After cleaning the inside surfaces of the thermal pane window, vents are fitted through the exterior window pane to allow the moist air to escape and replaced with dry air from outside. As a precautionary measure, the bottom of the window is sealed should there be a problem with the windows drainage system. The window will remain totally clear for years and regain its original R-Value.
Absolutely. Tempered glass (patio doors) cannot be drilled therefore the defogging process is carried out through the side (spacer bar) of the unit. Additional tools and instructions are needed which are included in our Advanced and Service Representative kits.
Some windows will clear within a few hours, some within a few days, and some can take a couple of months. Variables like the time of year, size of the window, the direction it is facing, and your geographical location, all contribute to how quickly the window will completely clear and regain its original R-Value. However, once cleared, it will remain totally clear for years!
They may well have been gas filled when they were first installed. However, moisture inside your window means the seal has failed and the gas escaped a long time ago. Gas filled windows have only a slightly higher (half a point) R-Value than windows filled with air. However, the R-Value of a window filled with dry air is much higher than one filled with moist air.
Absolutely. Many windows are easier accessed from inside the home. Additional equipment and instructions are needed which are included in our Service Representative kits.
The foggy window repair process removes the moisture contained within the window and cleans the glass. It will remove most mineral (calcium, magnesium, etc.) stains deposited inside the window. Over long periods of time (years) some minerals will etch into the surface of the window glass. This window repair process will not remove the etching. However, after the process is carried out the damage will not get any worse. Most windows return to their original clear state. While some may not be perfect, huge improvements can be expected.
After the window has completely dried out the window will return to its original R-Value. Gas filled windows have only a slightly higher (half a point) R-Value than windows filled with air. However, the R-Value of a window filled with dry air is much higher than one filled with moist air.
Absolutely. Tempered glass used in patio doors or in commercial buildings cannot be drilled therefore the defogging process is carried out through the side (spacer bar) of the unit. Additional tools and instructions are needed which are included in our Advanced and Service Representative kits. Laminated glass is basically two thin pieces of standard glass with a safety film sandwiched between them, the foggy window repair process for a laminated thermal window is carried out in the same way as for the standard thermal window.
The Window Defogging Process MUST be carried out when temperatures are ABOVE freezing. At temperatures below freezing, you risk the washing solution freezing onto the window panes and possibly breaking the glass, or breaking frozen window glass panes when drilling.
Low E glass has a film sprayed or applied to the internal glass surfaces. It is usually slightly tinted. While the defogging process will always work and dry out the windows completely, applying our suggested washing and rinsing solutions may react with the low E applications and discolor the window film. Many customers with low E glass simply drill and vent their windows for the defogging process to work. The customer will either accept the mineral deposits (if there are any) remaining on the glass surfaces, or experiment with the solutions on an inconspicuous window to see if our suggested washing and rinsing solutions do infact react with their low E applications.
